4D3N Kunming Muslim Tour


Day 1 Arrival (L/D)
Arrive in Kunming. Upon arrival we will visit Western Hills in the morning. Western Hills is a range of mountains stretching from the southwestern suburbs of Kunming along the western shore of Dianchi Lake, where we will have “Viewing the landscape of Dianchi” – one of the grandest pictures of Kunming. After touring the near by Dragon Gate Park with return shuttle bus, we will check-into the hotel to rest.

Day 2 Kunming – Yiliang (B/L/D)
Drive for 90 KM to Jiuxiang Caves. Jiuxiang is inhabited by the Yi and Hui ethnic groups, there are over 100 karsts caves of different sizes, and Jiuxiang is confirmed to be the biggest cave clusters in China with the greatest number of caves and most wonderful in-cave scenic .The scenic site covers a total area of 172 square kilometers, in which are enchantingly beautiful natural landscape, magnificent underground scenery, long-standing humanistic scenes and intense ethnic folk customs. Besides Cave Area, Yin Cui Gorge Cruise will also make your trip unforgettable. We will be impressed by the breathtaking picture of Jiuxiang Scenic Area when we take Chair Lift. Check into nearby 3-star+ Shuanglu Hotel for rest.

Day 3 Kunming (B/L/D)
.A full-day excursion to the Stone Forest, 32 acres of special karsts limestone formations that have eroded into cliffs and peaks, including caves, arches and pavilions, all connected by a labyrinth of trails. The Stone Forest is a world of stone peaks, stalactite-stalagmites, stalagmites, subterranean rivers and underground limestone caves. The place is also home to the Sani people, a branch of the industrious and brave Yi minority. As born singers and dancers, the Sani people are also skilled in embroidery. After lunch we will visit the Colorful Yunnan. Today our program also includes visiting to Nancheng Mosque – most famous mosque in Kunming.

Day 4 Departure (B)
Before departure, we will go into Flower Market, which is a part of a series of streets and markets in central Kunming where an attempt has been made to preserve some of the typical architecture of the region. Traditional wooden houses with grass growing from their roofs line the streets where a variety of products are sold, including of course a small alley devoted to flowers and cage birds. Then we will transfer to the airport for departure.

4star Uchoice Hotel and Weilong Hotel (website in newel) or similar class
Yiliang: 3star+ Shuanglu Hotel (www.ynylsl.com) or similar class
